Avanthis is founded by two 20-year-old students, Elena & Grace. We met studying Entrepreneurship & Management at Henley Business School in September 2018 and instantly became friends. Since then we've bonded over many similar interests and especially clicked with our shared love for fashion. Avanthis is our 3rd-year school project for the Applied Entrepreneurship module, and it is also our opportunity to pursue our vision of a cleaner and more sustainable tomorrow through our love for clothes.

Hey there!
I am Greek, and yes, it is okay if you cannot pronounce my last name.
Fashion and interior design have interested me from a young age but as I was getting older I couldn't help but notice the impact we have on our planet. As an animal lover, it scared me that so many animal species have gone extinct during my lifetime, and how a lot more will be endangered in the future.
Thus, our idea for this project, to join forces to re-purpose and restyle pre-loved fashion, was the perfect solution to avoid contributing towards fast clothing waste.
I hope that you resonate with our vision and values, and I wish that Avanthis brings you joy as we deliver what you need.

People from home call me Ying Han, but you may call me Grace. I come from Singapore, but have studied in the UK for over 4 years now. Since I was little, starting my own company has always been my dream. So when this opportunity to run my own startup presented itself to me I knew right away that I had to take it. Fashion and sustainability have always been passions of mine, and I am delighted to have this platform to spread awareness about slow fashion and connect with people who have similar values.
Starting Avanthis with one of my best friends in the world makes this journey ever more exciting; and I hope that you can join and follow us along the way as our Avanthis family grows everyday.
